Description
Dr. Knecht is a compassionate and experienced oncologist who adopts an evidence-based, multi-disciplinary approach to cancer care. He treats all solid tumors and specializes in diagnosing and managing various blood disorders and hematologic malignancies. While he cares for adult patients of all ages, Dr. Knecht has a particular interest in geriatric oncology and palliative care. As a member of the local community, he brings a unique understanding of his patients' lives, allowing him to offer personalized, empathetic care. Dr. Knecht earned his MD from Georges University in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch, followed by a Medical Oncology fellowship at the same institution. He is board-certified in Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
